The Hiller Companies, Inc., a national leader in the Fire Protection and Security Industry, has an immediate opening for an Estimating Coordinator in Parker, CO.

Pay Range: $20/hour-$24/hour depending on experience

Description:

The Estimating Coordinator will work in conjunction with the Estimating team and will be responsible for producing, gathering, and reviewing project-related information. This position will be accountable for maintaining project bid details, ensuring all information is up‐to‐date, consistent, and organized in a manner which supports the project team.

• Review construction documents and understand the scope of work to bid.
• Inputs take-offs into a proposal spreadsheet.
• Obtains pricing for materials.
• Work directly with sales staff, technicians, co-workers, and management on customer requests, proposals, product research, and material orders.
• Prepare bids, quotes, and proposals from architectural documents, prints and plans, site evaluation, and walkthroughs, completing these according to established deadlines.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
• Set follow-up to keep customers aware of the latest developments.
• Visit job sites when needed.
• Inform the immediate supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or computer databases.
• Work directly with crews to solve problems and create change orders.
• Attends departmental meetings as required.
• Perform miscellaneous functions related to sales/estimating.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Deadline and detail oriented.
• Excellent teamwork, motivational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
