JOB SUMMARY

The ERP Analyst is the member of the Information Technology department and is specifically responsible for the support of Synagro business applications and related functions in the environment. The ERP Analyst will focus on continuing to drive value back to the business through process improvement utilizing the functionality of the system. This role may require travel on an add needed basis.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the design, development, implementation and support of the NetSuite ERP system.
• Understanding the requirements of the business and related work processes.
• Assist in process improvement through work elimination and automation
• Support in configuration and testing of the NetSuite ERP System
• Troubleshooting system functionality when results are not as expected
• Training end users on system functionality
• Defining and maintaining roles and role based security
• Maintaining and Supporting data integrations between application's

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Understanding of the core financial and project accounting modules of NetSuite or equivalent cloud-based ERP system.
• Understanding of financial work processes of General Ledger, Chart of accounts structures, Accounts Payable and Receivables processes, Asset management, project accounting, Month end close, financial reporting, balance sheets and income statements.
• Understanding how to configure custom records, fields, drop down lists, saved searches, and dashboards
• Understanding how to import data and perform data transformations within NetSuite.
• Basic project management skills of documenting scope, developing requirements documents, developing work break down structures, estimating time, tracking issues, and performing change management activities is required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES

• A bachelor degree in business or related field is strongly desired.
• Minimum 1 years’ experience supporting and implementing NetSuite ERP or equivalent cloud-based ERP system in mind-market space.
• Minimum 1 years’ experience supporting and development reports using the Adaptive Insights or equivalent FP&A tool.
• Understanding of basic accounting and finance functions.
• Working in an IT department or other capacity supporting a major ERP package, tracking metrics, troubleshooting problems, and supporting end users.
• Any NetSuite certifications are a plus
• Certifications in a project management discipline is a plus (PMP, CAPM, Scrum, Agile)
