About us

We're looking for a skilled and experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to assist with the upkeep of our injection molding machinery on our night shift with significant pay differential. We need someone who is both mechanically inclined and can adequately troubleshoot any issues that arise with our machinery. The ideal candidate can identify equipment malfunctions and repair them according to company policy, and will also ensure proper safety procedures are in place so that the proper steps are taken to limit any serious accidents or mistakes. This awesome Technician takes pride in their troubleshooting skills, safety mindset and team player capability.

Summary: To perform electrical and mechanical repairs or preventative maintenance in order to ensure production equipment performs as required.

  • Installs, alters, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical and mechanical molding and printing equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC system.
  • Installs and trouble shoots mechanical or electrical support equipment (conveyors, box sealing machines, grinding equipment, stackers, etc.)
  • Preventative maintenance in molding.
  • Preventative maintenance for support equipment.
  • Maintain PM files - database
  • Maintain work-order files – database.
  • Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and (HACCP) Practices.
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or department manager
  • Must Know the Quality Policy, Food Safety Policy and apply it to working practices.
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes
  • Follow all Lock-Out Tag-out procedures
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and help others as needed.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Must be mechanically and electrically inclined.
  • Must be safety and quality conscience at all times.
  • 5-7 years equipment maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to work under limited supervision
  • Additional training may be required to retain position
  • Must be familiar with the operation of PLCs, Drives, and robots.
  • Must have basic equipment maintenance tools
  • Must be responsible, self- motivated and team oriented. Must be able to make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Must have a willingness to take a "hands on" approach during times of process interruption.

Education and/or Experience:

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.
