Tetra Tech Inc. is seeking professional, motivated, and intelligent candidates to fill an Environmental Planning and Civil Works Manger position supporting our U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Strategic Growth initiatives. This position will support the strategy, business development, capture, and execution of engineering, asset management, and planning projects/proposals for DoD clients. The ideal candidate will have established relationships with DoD clients. This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.

Your Role:

  • Develop new client accounts and work with existing Tetra Tech account managers and market sector leaders to expand existing client accounts.
  • Prepare proposals, support projects, and perform technical work as necessary balancing sales and utilization.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies to increase client base for a broad range of integrated services including planning, engineering, investigation, assessment, geospatial, and construction management services.
  • Meet with key clients and potential clients to share Tetra Tech’s capabilities and foster stronger client relationships.
  • Collaborate with other experts in numerous locations across Tetra Tech's geography.
  • Identify, develop, and nurture strategic partnerships with other businesses for major government programs.
  • Provide technical and study leadership.
  • Develop business partnerships to advance Tetra Tech’s strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, science or a related technical field is required.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in study management and technical support for the USACE is required.
  • Knowledge of the USACE planning and review process required.
  • Experience with the National Environmental Policy Act regulations and policies required.
  • Project management capabilities required.
  • Demonstrated experience with USACE civil works programs and expertise in plan formulation required.
  • Demonstrated experience providing technical support and leadership for military planning projects required.
  • Experience working with Native American Tribes desired
.• Experience supporting or leading capture planning, and task order or contract proposals is required.• Professional certifications are preferred.
  • Knowledge of the US Army, Navy, Air Force, or other DoD/Federal organizations is required.
  • DOD Security Clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
