Automotive Manufacturing/ Production & Assembly Associate

Elite Staffing Firm LLC is looking to hire dependable associates for an automotive, and production company in Lawrenceville, IL. They are a premier manufacturer of automotive interior components for the Toyota Highlander and Toyota Sequoia. Our components include door and seat assembly.

Pay Rates:

• Blue Shift: $16.25 Per Hour
• Gold Shift: $17.75 Per Hour

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SOME DUTIES THAT MAY APPLY:

• Run and operate pipe benders (3) total
• Able to program computer screen for change over
• Able to do machine change over
• Lifting up to but not limited to 30lbs
• Operates and maintains equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Responsible for meeting plant targets for safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction
• Works in a manufacturing environment emphasizing teamwork, safety, training, and discipline.
• Following standardized work procedures and work sequence for each process.
• Works with Team Leader to improve standardized processes/methods, identify waste, methodically eliminate waste and standardize the new process/methods.
• Directly responsible for the performance of assigned work area.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others in a group environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Attention to detail
• Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be able to stand long periods of time
• Able to stand on a step stool
• Able to lift up to 30lbs

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Industrial plant setting. Continuous exposure to noise. Safety protection is required. Must wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and work in a safe manner.
