At Five Star Food Service, the Administrative Assistant position will assist in customer service, administrative support, and data entry support to various departments and managers. Attention to detail and an excellent level of accuracy are critical for success in this support position. Excellent multi-level verbal and written communication skills are essential.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

• A high regard for customer service and employee relations
• Ability to support incoming customer calls on multi phone line system and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Accurate data entry with the ability to recognize and fix errors.
• Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer
• Examine and distribute documents and correspondence as needed
• Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers
• Work on other tasks and special projects as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to learn new software applications easily
• Knowledge of business principles and environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Planning, organizing and time management skills
• Information gathering and planning skills

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar, administrative support role.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to pass drug screening
• Must be able to consent to a background check
