ENTERTAINMENT COORDINATOR Job at Edgewater (Laughlin, NV)
Summary:
Works under the direction of the Entertainment & Special Events Manager and responsible for setup and break down for all E Center events which includes but not limited to concert, trade shows and banquets.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, furniture, barricades and stanchions
- Must be able to push/pull sound, lighting and backline equipment up and down stage ramp
- Responsible for working as stage hand assistant
- Must be able to follow directions; map layouts for concerts, festivals, trade shows and events
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the area (clean, sweep, vacuum large areas)
- Must be able to hang signage as required
- Operate mechanical and other lifting equipment (i.e. forklift, scissors lift)(will provide training and certification if necessary)
- Must present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well groomed manner
- Must maintain an excellent working relationship with the staff and all levels of the organization, performers, and other outside staff
- Must be able to understand and conform to all Company/Department Policies and Procedures and Rules and Regulations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Right to work in the United States
- Must be able to work flexible hours
Work Cards
- Valid Driver’s License
- 10 year DMV Driving History Report
Physical Requirements
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
- Regularly walk, stand, climbing, bending, kneeling and stretching.
