(30%) Creates and manages timeline of enrollment and marketing activities with frequent checkpoints internally and externally with the customer

(25%) Partners with various internal Hartford roles and external Customers to execute a custom enrollment strategy for new and inforce business

(25%) Partners with regionally aligned sales offices to review inforce book of business and find opportunities for enrollment growth

(5%) Monitors enrollment campaigns to proactively ensure optimal results; if negative results are observed, assess the situation, engage appropriate resources and adjust the enrollment strategy, as necessary

(5%) Conducts a post-enrollment debrief with appropriate parties and confirms all tracked data is entered into all systems/resources

(5%) Enrollment subject matter expert

(3%) Creates marketing campaigns within an internal self-service system/engage Marketing Team for custom campaigns

(2%) Utilize self-service system/engage Operations to create accurate enrollment materials to initiate enrollment materials

Strong time management skills through effectively managing multiple priorities while continuing to be organized

Effectively communicate and present information, both verbal and written, to convey goals, ideas, expectations and challenges

Establish leadership within a team to successfully implement a voluntary enrollment

Promote teamwork, know internal resources, delegate tasks, resolve conflicts and evaluate performance

Assess risk and manage to identify possible issues and create solutions before they arise; the ability to be innovative and nimble

Negotiate and influence when necessary to gain buy in and satisfaction from teammates

Demonstrate strong follow through skills
Voluntary Capabilities Expertise:

Demonstrate a clear understanding of the voluntary enrollment process

Demonstrate a clear understanding of all voluntary products and services

Leverage internal partners as Subject Matter Experts to correctly plan and manage an enrollment

Strong understanding of current Industry trends and continually strive to follow changes within the Industry
Customer Focus:

Build strong relationships externally with Brokers and Customers

Strive for excellent customer service and quick response times

Understand a customer's needs and identify the types of services and marketing tools that work successfully with different demographics of employees/customers, group size, level of comfort with technology, billing needs and other factors
Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years Group Benefits Experience
-
Knowledge of Group Life, Disability, Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Benefits

Knowledge of Enrollment Strategy

Group Sales and/or Service experience
-
Group Benefits Disability Specialist Designation or obtain within 1 year of hire.

Completion of Voluntary Certification Program or pass within 1 year of hire.

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$67,000-$83,000
