Summary:

We are currently seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team!
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Maintain (i.e., calibrate, troubleshoot, repair) instruments for gas analysis (chemiluminescence, FTIR, NDIR), material characterization (TGA, DSC, elemental analysis, SEM-EDS, DRIFTS, PV), and sorption / catalytic activity measurements (core testers, single brick testers).
- Develop/manage new/existing preventative maintenance plans.
- Modify existing instruments and/or acquire/build/qualify new instruments.
- Modify existing and/or install new PLCs for instrument automation, including SCADA interface.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists in project work.
Requirements:
- Safety focus.
- Associates degree in science, engineering, or technical field.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or equivalent, is preferred.
- Experience maintaining laboratory analytical instrumentation.
- PLC programming. Experience with Honeywell PLCs and iFIX software is a plus.
- Communication. Attention to detail, Organized. Mechanical aptitude. Problem solver. Teamwork.
