• Manage assigned engineering projects establishing manpower, budgets, scheduling, equipment, and materials.

• Select and manage equipment suppliers and vendors.

• Conduct feasibility studies and cost - benefit analysis.

• Maintain an up to date awareness of Federal, State, and Local engineering codes and regulations.
• Review ergonomics, safety requirements and sanitation/GMP/food safety aspects of assigned projects.
• Participate and be an active member of the engineering department to foster teamwork and provide excellent customer service.
• Provide training and educational services to all departments when applicable.

4-year degree in science or engineering.

Minimum of 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in operations, project management, process design and contractor supervision in a process environment. Proven project management experience of complex projects is required; Demonstrates interpersonal skills with strong grasp of engineering disciplines, plant operations and construction.

Travel: Travel required for project meetings, vendor/engineering/consultant meetings.
