Engineering Manager Job at Doherty Staffing Solutions
Do you want to be a key member of new product development while overseeing an engineering team? Currently partnering with a direct hire manufacturing company near Rochester, MN. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the department to establish the vision, goals, and metrics for the engineers. You will earn between $92K-$126K+ depending on experience!
Requirements:
- The role ensures the team aligns with the company's objectives and maintains its reputation for excellent engineering support.
- Assist the engineers with customers product applications, performance, and questions.
- The position also involves technical leadership, managing initiatives, customer interaction, budgeting, and personnel planning.
- Support and manage new product development initiatives and conduct research and development to support new product development and optimize existing designs through trials and testing.
- Provides technical leadership in platforms
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of professional engineering experience specifically with new product development and as a proven leader
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and experience with ANSYS FEA
- Project management experience with a track record of on-time, on-budget, and on-spec performance.
