DESCRIPTION
This position will contribute a combination of strong technical skills and business acumen to the Medical Products team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Medical Program Management team in development of new insert molding, metal stamping, and assembly applications
- Develop and test manufacturing processes, with emphasis on quality and precision
- Support new process implementation
- Conduct studies to troubleshoot and optimize quality of products
- Support Product Design & Development for existing programs
- Assist in Product Design & Development to win new business opportunities through development of innovative solutions
- Investigate new manufacturing technologies and methods
QUALIFICATIONS
- Mechanically Inclined
- Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks
- Ability to be self-directed and work independently
- Flexibility and versatility to perform different or new tasks
- Strong analytic skills to find solutions for complex problems
- Good interpersonal skills to be used within the various groups of the Weiss Aug organization
