Job Summary:
Maintains and repairs heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing and assists with emergency situations as needed. Performs all duties in accordance with Caesars Entertainment policies and within the realm of the Caesars Entertainment Mission Statement.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of four years experience in two or more above areas. Must be able to obtain a State or Federal license or certification in respective areas or responsibility. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team. Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must posses an EPA card plus a Journeyman’s card and/or Certifications in at least 2 or more of the following areas: Pluming, HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, Kitchen equipment. Must be able to obtain a C.P.O. card within 90 days of employment and receive licensing from Clark County Health District.

Essential Job Functions:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair duties on all building mechanical systems, equipment and tools.
- Operation and repair of energy management equipment.
- Operation of life safety systems, and maintenance and repair in public areas and guest rooms.
- Work with Facilities Manager in coordinating projects and scheduling work.
- Take a leadership role in reporting and correcting unsafe work practices or unsafe facility conditions.
- Train and assist area apprentices and engineers in repair procedures and company policy.
- Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
- Performs all other tasks as assigned.
Work Environment and ADA Requirements:
Must be capable of maneuvering for prolonged periods of time, both inside and outside sometimes in temperatures in excess of 115 degrees or cold temperatures below 10 degrees. Must possess coordination and dexterity to work with power and hand tools such as drills, electric saws, hammers, sewer snakes, etc.... Respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to stoop, bend, jump and carry heavy loads. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds. Able to maneuver on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs. Must be able to think clearly and respond calmly in situations. Must be able to learn and retain locations, operation and repair procedures of this property's mechanical systems.

· Must be able to work the second shift consistently
· Has thorough knowledge and understanding of general repairs and maintenance.
· Must possess very good interpersonal and communication skills; will be interfacing with a high percentage of guests as well as other staff members.
· Must be flexible to work all shifts, may be required to work overtime on occasion when the department is short of staff.
· The ability to listen ,learn, be helpful in all situations and make the best sound decisions toward the resolution of a potential problem.
Due to the nature of the hotel being open365 days per year (24/7) and a variety of start times for events, etc., all candidates must be flexible to work varying schedules to accommodate the business needs of the hotel. All candidates MUST be available to work both during the week as well as on weekends/holidays and there is no guarantee of a "set" work schedule.
