An established law firm located is looking to hire an Employment Associate Attorney to join their team in Sherman Oaks, CA. This law firm provides litigation defense and business consultation legal services in a wide range of practice areas.
The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience as an attorney and majority of that being in employment law. The Employment Associate Attorney will take on the day to day management and ownership of cases.

Responsibilities:
- Take an active role in the day to day management and ownership of cases
- Types of cases they will be defending include class action, single plaintiff, employment and some hybrid cases
- Delegating work to the appropriate team member
- Motion for summary judgment
- Heavy discovery work
- Work with a team of 4-5 on all cases
- Requesting law in motion
Qualification
- 3+ years of experience as an attorney
- Experience in employment law and litigation experience required
- Experience conducting discovery
- Class action and single plaintiff experience required
- Works well both independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in Abacus is a plus
- Microsoft Suite experience is preferred
