The Emergency Response Support Staff member assists the Hospital with the oversight of all visitor control and patient experience related to COVID-19. Supports the leadership team with a variety of administrative tasks on-site and at offsite locations regarding testing, vaccination, or additional COVID-19 safety protocols. Effectively communicate via phone, email and/or in-person ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
- Performs screening/check in process of all patients and/or visitors.
- Performs bodily temperature checks of all patients and/or visitors.
- Maintains inventory and organization of all supplies, gathering resources as needed.
- Provide support for any emergency response projects throughout the hospital such as Vaccine Pods, Testing sites and Screening sites.
- Performs general office duties including, word processing, copying, filing, faxing, answering phones and data entry.
- Provide excellent customer service and assists with any patient inquiries.
- Promotes a positive and professional work environment, patient safety, and adheres to hospital policies.
- Performs other department specific duties as deemed appropriate by Management.
- High School Diploma required.
- Computer literacy with emphasis on Microsoft Office products.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
