We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled remote Embedded C Architect with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, including 3+ years of relevant leadership experience, and a minimum of 3 finished projects and system design and architecture from scratch.
As an Embedded C Architect, you will be responsible for developing safety-critical software to control car steering according to the V model of software development using the Autosar framework in compliance with the ISO 26262 standard.
The ideal candidate should have excellent soft skills, experience in embedded hardware and embedded C software, and the ability to work remotely.

Perform software requirements and impact analysis

Plan and create SW architecture design

Develop software components and module-level functional specification and design

Implement and apply SW development processes

Provide training and guidance for developers

Communicate with customer/project stakeholders

Define software layers, compositions, and components

Define the SW safety concept

Define ASIL Qualification of components
-
Define components interaction scenarios and workflows
-
Define integration constraints
-
Define the AUTOSAR component model
-
Define service dependencies
-
Define components interfaces and protocols
-
Define roles and responsibilities of components
-
Define datasets and memory distribution
-
Implement SW prototype
-
Supervise development
-
Clarify requirements and architecture with project stakeholders

Review and decompose customer requirements
-
Define software requirements that are designed for testability, implementation free, unambiguous, consistent, and accurate
-
Understand and use Technical Safety Requirements

Participate in customer/internal meetings
-
Perform safety and functional impact analysis (issues, change requests)

Develop and maintain SW development processes and workflows

10+ years of relevant production experience in C-embedded development
-
A minimum of 3 finished projects and system design and architecture from scratch

Experience in V model SDLC

Experience in requirements handling

Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams

Good spoken and written English

Strong development background and experience

Structured, systematic way of thinking

Ability to keep the balance between technical solutions and project constraints
