National Merchants Association (NMA) is looking to hire an experienced Email Marketing Manager to help our Marketing Team create and manage all email campaigns from beginning to end.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for our end-to-end email marketing strategy, including writing copy, managing email databases, compiling weekly reporting, and more. In this role, you will organize our current email marketing programs, identify opportunities for lead generation, grow our subscriber list, increase engagement, measure performance, and generate innovative ideas to drive growth.
This Email Marketing Manager will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify how to best target user groups and develop the email content they’re seeking. This individual is responsible for producing all emails on time to specifications. The ideal candidate for this role must be detail oriented, have a positive attitude, and have a strong attention to detail.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement email marketing strategy, including seamless communication throughout the customer journey and marketing campaigns.
- Manage all email campaigns from creation to launch, measurement and optimization
- Oversee the design and implementation of direct email marketing campaigns. This includes (but is not limited to) developing copy and subject lines, designing email templates, building email lists, managing the content calendar and more.
- Build out and collaborate on email template design and flexibility
- Maintain Email Lists, Email Database, Email Workflows, and Email List Segmentation
- Maintain email marketing calendar to incorporate strategic marketing initiatives into email correspondence
- Create and maintain customer and partner relationships
- Leverage statistical analysis and social media interactions to increase sales
- Design email templates for pubic communications and marketing campaigns
- Coordinate the development and deployment of all creative assets for email campaigns.
- Identify opportunities to grow our email list and create forms, pop-ups,landing pages and campaigns to attract subscribers
- Execute A/B testing, record results and advise on improvements. Testing includes subject lines, message content, CTAs, customer segments, send time and new enhancements/features
- Drive conversion, ROI and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as open rate, click-thru rate, conversion rate, bounce rate, deliverability, unsubscribe rate, email list growth rate, etc.
- QA all emails to ensure prompt, accurate, and error-free communication with customers to build loyal relationships and minimize unsubscribes, opt-outs, etc.
- Ensure emails follow industry standards and privacy policies
- Constantly look for new ways to improve the overall email program through new trends and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience required
- 3-5 years of work experience in email/digital marketing, copywriting, growth marketing, e-commerce, etc.
- Experience working with Email Service Providers (ESP) such as Klaviyo, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, Hubspot Marketo, etc.
- Experience in marketing automation and content management systems
- Ability to track, measure, and report on results of email marketing campaigns to determine ROI
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills in English
- Past experience working at an agency or in-house marketing team
- Must be a team player with the ability to work within a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Google Analytics preferred
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites preferred
- Knowledge of CRM and copy writing preferred
- Remote or Hybrid work is NOT available for this position.
