Heytutor is looking to hire part-time tutors to help elementary and middle students with basic Math and English. We have over 500 positions available within the Los Angeles County area that we are looking to fill. This is a part time / In Person position paying between $19-$24 per hour and we are aiming to you start this role within the week.

Position: Elementary School Tutor
Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ current English and Math skills.
• Help students work through their homework and study for exams.
• Provide mentoring and social and emotional support by encouraging impactful, positive tutor-student relationships and increasing students’ motivation and engagement in learning.

Qualifications:

• Candidates who are currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program or has an Associates or Bachelors degree. Some kind of experience with children would be considered.
• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination required.
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting with grade school students.
• Successfully complete a Background Check.

Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM
• Tuesday 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM

Pay Information:

• Pay is between $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
• Paid bi-weekly
