Full-time (10-Month Employee): Wage is based upon education and experience from $36,500 - $48,725 plus benefits and up to an additional $9,000 in Prop 301 money. This position is for a 1st Grade Teacher and will be at Beaver Dam Elementary School, 3436 E. Rio Virgin Rd., Beaver Dam, AZ 86432.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education, Training, and Experience:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in applicable field.

License, Certificates, and Fingerprints:

o Possession of, or eligibility to obtain, an Arizona Teaching Certificate.

o Possession of, or ability to possess, Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Verified Prints (IVP) fingerprint card.

Personal references from colleagues, friends, community members, etc. will not be accepted.

o Be sure to answer all criminal background questions. If you answer “yes” to any of the criminal background questions, you must provide a written explanation. A criminal offense does not necessarily exclude an applicant from employment with LUSD. Factors such as passage of time since the offense, the nature of the violation, and the extent of rehabilitation will be taken into consideration.
