Electronic Protection Systems is a local low-voltage electronics company based out of Lafayette, LA. We’ve been in business for over 20 years and are looking to expand our team. We are Acadiana’s premier provider of commercial fire alarm, camera surveillance, access control, security alarm, and remote monitored systems. Some of our most notable clients are Our Lady of Lourdes, Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center, Stuller Inc., and the Cajundome.

Who We’re Looking For:

EPS is looking for an experienced technician who has worked in low-voltage electronics or similar industries (electrical, HVAC, communications, etc.) for at least 1 year. Training specific to our equipment and brands will occur on the job.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Have a good understanding of electronics and the ability to use the basic functions of a digital multi-meter.
• Have a good understanding of computers, computer networking, and common computer software.
• Have dependable transportation with a Louisiana Drivers License and a GOOD DRIVING RECORD.
• Able to pass a background check with NO FELONY OFFENSES.
• Able to pleasantly communicate with managers and customers.
• Able to work well with others.
• Able to understand basic floor plans and maps.
• Able to report to work on time EVERY work day. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
