Job Responsibilities
- Preventative maintenance of electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical motors, pumps and HVAC power supplies
- Ability to Lay out, assemble, install, repair, connect or test electrical fixtures, apparatuses, control equipment and wiring systems of alarm, communication, light, heat or power in buildings and equipment
- Utilize computerized maintenance management software
- Resolve maintenance issues or complaints
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with company safety procedures
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures
Qualifications
- Oregon Electrical License or license from reciprocating state or LME
- Understanding of electrical schematics and electrical controls.
- Experience with motors and motor controls, electrical switchgear, 3 phase-480v service
- Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic controls
- 3-5 years of strong E&I experience and a strong preventive maintenance background in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with PLC’s including Rockwell systems, Allen Bradley, and Biley DCS
- Medium voltage switch gear experience an asset
- Familiarity with maintenance reporting in SAP, JD Edwards, and Ivara
- Must be able to lift between 50-70 lbs
- Electricians/LMEs work a rotating shift, four 12-hour shifts then four days off switching between days and nights, including weekends and holidays
