Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Electical Supervisor, the Electrician is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining all College electrical systems and related equipment in conformance with applicable codes and regulations.
Education/Skills Requirements
Required: A high school diploma or GED equivalent and a Journeyman Electrician’s License. A valid driver’s license and the ability to comply with the College’s Motor Vehicle Policy.
Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents
Required: A minimum of five years’ electrical maintenance and installation experience. Applicants must possess excellent customer service skills, familiarity with computers, and the knowledge and ability to manage programming and remote access interfaces with modern equipment. Must be able to respond to 24-hour call-in emergencies.
Standard Work Days and Hours
7:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M., Monday – Friday. Nights and weekends as overtime as campus activities require.
