Come and Grow with a Leader in the Industry… PumpSystems has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Technician to join our team in Folcroft, PA. We are looking for a person with a technical degree or equivalent work experience that has programming experience or a desire to learn PLC programming. The job would include wiring control panels, loading PLC programs, hooking up equipment to the test stand, and testing finished product. This role would also create wiring diagrams in CAD and basic skid layouts.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

• Ability to read and understand basic wiring diagrams
• Ability to do control cabinet wiring
• Ability to create wiring diagrams in CAD
• Ability to do basic wiring troubleshooting
• Ability to load and unload PLC programs
• Ability to configure VFDs and HMIs
• Desire to learn PLC programming and do basic programming changes
• Ability to assist in basic site start-ups and troubleshooting
• Ability to read paperwork or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials to be used in assembling product
• Fork-lift certified, a plus

Mandatory Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have one of the following:
  • Related two year technical degree
  • Minimum 5 years trade/work experience in a related manufacturing field or equivalent
• Read and write basic english; ability to communicate effectively both written and oral
• Basic computer skills, MS Word, Excel, Outlook
• Follows safety guidelines and uses all required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to lift to 75 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Ability to push or pull up to 100 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Attendance/Punctuality are important. We are looking for someone who is able to consistently get to work on-time and work until the scheduled quitting time.
