- Assists in performing all phases of installation, maintenance, repair & inspection of electrical & instrumentation systems and service work in new or remodeled facilities which includes:
Complex electronic devices
Control panels
Relays
Fire Control monitors & systems
Conduit/Cable Tray
Switches
Ensure proper electrical operation of generators & transformers
- The ability to remain focused and engaged on the task being performed
- Tendency to look ahead in the work being performed
- Willingness to assist the journeyman by preparing for the next step
Qualifications/ Requirements
- Licensed as an electrical helper in accordance with State Laws
- Prior field experience as an electrical helper or completion of an electrical training program preferred
- A strong desire to learn the trade and skillsets involved
