Job Description: The Electrical Engineer responsibilities include design and assembly of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic controls systems using Beckhoff or Siemens PLC’s to control servo motors and VFD's.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

The Controls Design Engineer will be responsible for delivering engineering results that include the following:

• Project management of the machine (on time, on budget) from inception to delivery while being involved and assisting with troubleshooting of issues.
• Design and detail the control schematics and BOM's
• Program the PLC and HMI for a given project.
• Size and specify servo systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years related experience
• Electrical panel layout experience
• PLC and HMI programming experience (Beckhoff or Siemens preferred)
• 2D CAD experience – Wiring diagrams
• Knowledge of NFPA 79, CE Machinery Directive
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
