The Electrical Drafter primarily prepares wiring diagrams, circuit board assembly diagrams, and layout drawings. The Electrical Drafter works closely with our Lead Designers and Project Engineers to satisfy customer requirements and resolve design problems from the initial design to the final release of drawing to the shop floor. They will report directly to the VP of Engineering. • TITLE: Electrical Drafter
• POSITION: Onsite, Full-Time, Direct Hire **Onsite**
• HOURLY PAY: $22-28/HR
• SCHEDULE: 1st Shift with Flexibility
• LOCATION: Door County

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Calculate flows, loadings, dimensions and weights as determined or instructed.
• Use manufacturer’s literature, selecting equipment components based on workable design, and other engineering data.
• Compare costs versus designs to determine the most cost-effective way to manufacture the equipment.
• Create BOMs for purchasing, fabrication and shipping.

REQUIREMENTS

• Associates degree or Technical Degree in Drafting or Design or equivalent years of experience
• Experience and familiarity with Electrical drafting the related electrical symbols
• Proficient or advanced with 2D AutoCAD
• Ability to work well with co-workers, customers and vendors
• Positive, upbeat attitude
• Proactive work-ethic
