Thermal Care provides heat transfer equipment for over 50 industries, including plastics, laser, heat treating, food processing, machine tool, plating, anodizing, chemical, die casting, optical coating, and printing.

Thermal Care is hiring an Electrical Designer to design, detail, document, and modify new and existing products utilizing SolidWorks or AutoCad.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs new and revised product designs using 2D or 3D CAD environment;
• Under the direction of an engineer, provides drafting support on engineered orders and new product development projects;
• Prepares complete layouts of industrial chillers and pumping systems comprised of mechanical and electrical components, sheet metal, and piping.

Qualifications and Work Experience

• Associate’s Degree in CAD or Engineering (or related field);
• Two (2)+ years of experience in a durable goods manufacturing environment;
• Thorough knowledge of drafting techniques, engineering terminology and manufacturing materials;
• Proficient with computers and computer software including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project;
