McFarland Johnson is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our widely respected and diverse Civil Facilities Division in our Binghamton, NY office locations.
Successful candidate must be a technically well-versed Electrical Engineer to assist in the design of power distribution, lighting, communications, Electric Vehicle Charging Systems, fire detection and alarm, and security building systems as well as highway and airfield lighting and control systems.
Primary responsibilities include working on all phases of projects such as planning, pre-design scoping, plan design, specifications, project team coordination, construction documents, bidding, construction review and inspection, code analysis, client relations and consultant interaction.
