Full Job Description

Current RE is currently seeking highly motivated electrical professionals to join our skilled team, in the position of electrical apprentice with a focus on solar power. At Current RE, we are adaptable, flexible, and work with a sense of urgency. The Electrical Apprentice position is for motivated individuals who wish to become electricians responsible for both commercial and residential jobs solar and electrical system installs.

Responsibilities of Current RE Electrical Apprentices:

• Install and hook up electrical solar systems with inverters.

• Bend and Run Conduit as needed while maintaining a good overall installation aspect

• Install and commission PV monitoring systems

• Maintain a clean work area and perform all area cleanup on completion.

• Report progress and photos to supervisor in effort to maintain open communication.

An Electrical Apprentice should have the following entry Qualifications:

• Ability to operate as part of a team driven to reach the same goal efficiently.

• Ability to lift 50lbs of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday.

• Ability to work on a roof, including various angles and surfaces safely.

• Ability to work in tight spaces, such as attics, basements, etc.

• Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including high heat, low light, excessive noise, wet environments etc.

• Attention to detail.

• Self-Managed.

• Good driving record.

• Ability to interact with clients and other team members.
