A EHS Admin Job in Santa Ana, CA is currently available through Belcan. In this role you will develop and Track Specific EHS (Environment, Health, & Safety) Training Plan for all Santa Ana Employees.

Job Description:

The position supports environmental, health, safety, and security efforts at the site. Individual is accountable for: supporting EHS activities at site including internal and external reporting of EHS performance, support deployment of plant level EHS programs, policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with local, city, county, state, and federal regulatory requirements and conformance with Client Corporation mandates. Position is also responsible to support the creation of strong EHS culture that engages employees throughout the site. Responsible to keep and archive required MESH and Regulatory documentation using hard or digital copies.

A. Develop and Track Specific EHS (Environment, Health, & Safety) Training Plan for all Santa Ana Employees

a. Deliver General EHS Awareness Training as identified in Training Plan (10%)

b. Keep Records for EHS Training (Digital &/or Hardcopies) for all Santa Ana Employees (10%)

B. MESH (Management of Environment, Health, and Safety) Champion for eight MESH elements (30%)

C. Keep all records digital &/or hardcopies of MESH program elements (10%)

D. Represent EHS Function on daily Tier 2 Meetings. When required, escalate EHS issues to Tier 3 meetings for resolution. (10%)

E. Keep track of all 'Positive Interruptions' and EHS observation actions (5%)

F. Responsible for input of all EHS data and information into MESH Prism (10%)

G. Manages the hazardous waste compliance program under RCRA (5%)

H. Evaluate jobs for possible ergonomic improvements (body mechanics, lifts, hoists, manipulators, etc.) and assist implementing these work design changes using Human Tech Software. (5%)

I. Receive applicable training to accomplish required tasks.

Project Deliverables:

1) Accurate and updated EHS Training Plan

2) Complete all yearly activities related to the MESH elements assigned as a Champion

3) Regular, Sustained attendance at all Tier 2 Meetings

4) Establish effective tracking tool to measure, track, record, and close actions pertaining to 'Positive Interruptions' & EHS Observations program.

5) Information for Santa Ana MESH Prism is updated and accurate

6) Maintain & report out on compliance with hazardous waste through established documentation methods

7) Update database including all ergonomic evaluations performed using HumanTech.
