Founded in 1992, Cascade Christian Schools serves infants through grade twelve and today is a thriving school district serving students and families throughout Pierce County. The candidate who is best qualified and best matched for this position shall possess the following:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodation may be made for individuals with a need for accommodation to perform the essential functions of this job.

• Will have the benefit of professional editing and proofreading
• Will utilize the grammatical form and style adopted by Cascade Christian Schools
• Will ensure that publications meet the form and style criteria, schedule, and efficiency goals of each project
• Will edit and proofread manuscripts
• Work with production and design staff to ensure appropriate design, art, and layout
• Status tracking of each editorial project is appropriately scheduled and completed.
• Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• A Christian role model in attitude, speech, and action
• Responds quickly to shifting priorities
• Has background check clearance
• Has experience working cross-functionally to influence change
• Has proven work experience in editing
• Has excellent copywriting skills
• Can deliver creative content
• Is familiar with creative design
• Has analytical and multitasking skills
