Are you interested in changing a child’s life? As an Early Head Start Lead Teacher, you will plan and implement individual experiences and create a safe and welcoming environment where 0 to 3-year-old children can thrive!! You will also support the families by providing parent education, involvement, and various activities for families to participate in.
Position Qualifications
Education
- Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or an equivalent college degree with 18 credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Infant/Toddler Development (must present transcript), OR
- High School Diploma or GED AND
- Currently enrolled in a program that will lead to an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree to be completed within six months or hire, OR
- Currently enrolled in a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential program upon hire to be completed within six months of hire, OR
- Currently possess and Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
Experience
- One year of experience teaching in a licensed childcare or public pre-k setting
