E-Commerce Manager, Chewy & Omni Channel
Our Pet Segment is searching for an E-Commerce Manager with 5+ years’ experience in our Neptune City, NJ facility. This role will sit on the Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Team, overseeing E-Commerce Sales related activities for Chewy and Omni Channel customers including gross and net sales, assortment, terms, market share, promotional planning, ROI and performance analysis, customer paid search investments and associated KPIs for Nylabone, Four Paws and IMS brands. The ideal candidate is an E-Commerce expert with e-retail experience on both the brand side and buying side. This person is highly analytical, well versed in E-Commerce trends and tools. They think big, multi-task, work smart, organized, detailed, innovative and entrepreneurial.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
- Own the e-commerce channel, including consumer experience, management of assortment, analytics, reporting, merchandising and growth strategy.
- Track sales/share growth and branded site KPIs.
- Own promotional activities including planning, launch, post-event analysis of spend, ROI and analysis.
- Manage all reporting of e-commerce financials, provide insights and learnings to the leadership team monthly.
- Own new item launches and corresponding marketing/merchandising initiatives, ensuring clear execution.
- Own pricing impact, fill rates, out of stocks and coordinate with inventory management to minimize lost sales.
- Own search investments– set benchmarks, strategy and analysis for continuous improvements.
- Own weekly, monthly quarterly market share reporting and competitor analysis.
- Lead Private Label efforts, managing internal cross-functional as well as customer facing communication.
- Partner cross-functionally with digital marketing, copy, creative, brand marketing, inventory management, forecasting, sales, reputation management, and other teams to provide visibility, transparency and efficiency with project work.
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years e-commerce experience at brand or retailer, ideally both.
- Deep understanding of E-Commerce space, overall trends and technology.
- Ability to independently learn new tools and technology, with first mover application to support the business.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with strong communication (both written and verbal) skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment in a highly visible role.
- Intellectual curiosity and thirst for innovation and success.
- Highly organized, accurate, quick learner, proactive and have a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of the pet space preferred.
