Overview

You will bring your ecommerce sales experience to bear and assume strategic oversight and tactical leadership of a fast growth channel. This newly-created role will be dedicated to Post Consumer Brands’ $1B pet food business operations, featuring brands that include Rachel Ray Nutrish®, Nature’s Recipe® and 9 Lives®.

We are excited to bring on Key Ecommerce Account Managers to support the Amazon.com AND Chewy.com businesses. You will join a winning ecommerce team and will have executional ownership of PCB’s growth strategy.

Successful candidate(s) will possess a proven background of driving growth of consumer products within ecommerce. Bring your strong analytical skills to solve business problems and communication skills to translate analytics into strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Sales lead for our pet food business unit with goal of increasing market share penetration and driving profitable sales growth.
  • Business Management
    • Develop mutually beneficial strong partnerships with the customer
    • Build & maintain relationships internally with all cross functional partners inclusive of; Customer Solutions, E-commerce Media, Trade, Revenue Management, Brand Marketing and Supply Chain
    • Develop strategies to drive brand + category growth and achieve sales + profit goals
    • Own & lead negotiation for joint business plans, line reviews, quarterly business reviews, promotional and feature plans, cost updates and other key initiatives
    • Influence customer partners to implement solutions through fact-based presentations that deliver results beneficial for the customer and Post Consumer Brands
    • Support and partner with Supply Chain team to drive solutions at the customer
    • Manage execution of everyday business, including customer forms & reports, online content, item maintenance, deal setups, logistics, inventory management, etc
  • Business Planning & Analytics
    • Develop and present the annual business plan and communicate to all relevant internal partners
    • Develop and maintain a monthly sales forecast and communicate to all relevant internal partners
    • Oversee a trade budget and improve trade efficiency with the customer
    • Manage internal sales systems including; baseline forecasts, promotions, pricing, deductions, etc
    • Perform in-depth data analytics of sales and profit components. Data drivers include; merchandising, promotions, pricing, inventory availability, content, digital shelf, etc
    • Manage syndicated data sources to inform strategic and tactical plans
    • Drive business process improvements by working closely with cross-functional business partners
Qualifications:
Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or other related discipline; Master’s Degree or MBA preferred


Experience

  • 5-10 years’ experience marketing online, specifically within ecommerce platforms
  • Previous experience calling on National Account headquarters or Regional Account headquarters
  • Excellent data analysis skills and business acumen to turn analytics into insights and recommendations
  • Proficient use of syndicated data sources.
  • Natural curiosity for how things work and the ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of work schedule
