The Position:

We are seeking a highly ambitious, hardworking, self-motivated, and sales-minded individual to join our team as a Dual Sales Manager. This person will be involved in soliciting, negotiating and booking new and existing leisure and corporate business. The ideal candidate will possess a lively personality, strong organizational skills, be detail oriented and be able to work in a fast-paced setting. This person must be able to work in a collaborative, team environment. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional that is capable of building strong relationships with our customers.

The Sales Manager is responsible for:

· Planning and developing an effective sales strategy

· Soliciting and developing new business accounts

· Maintaining accounts once the business is captured and current accounts

· Maintain accurate sales logs

· Ensuring all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded

· Building rapport with guests and sales clients

· Handling reservations and group bookings at the hotel

· Management of rate, occupancy and RevPAR

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a minimum of two years of experience in Sales and/or Event Coordination.
  • Be exceedingly friendly, customer oriented, have a positive and accommodating attitude while interacting with employees and customers.
  • Project a professional image of hotel to both customers and community
  • Actively participate in business, community and civic affairs in the local area
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Plymouth, MN 55447: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
