Direct Service Worker Floater needed. Floater will have use of a company phone which is expected to be on and answered 24hours a day. Shifts that need to be filled will be assigned to the floater. Some shifts are scheduled and can be planned ahead, some shifts are spur of the moment and may need to be worked on short notice or no notice. Travel to shifts includes but is not limited to the areas in and around Lake Charles, Westlake, Sulphur, Moss Bluff, Iowa, Kinder, Welsh, and Jennings. Conditional Mileage will be paid for travel. Job duties may include but are not limited to Supervision, Transportation, Medication Administration, Cooking, Light Housekeeping, Laundry, Assistance with bathing, toileting, transferring, and other activities of daily living. Floater must have access to a safely operating insured vehicle, and must present a valid driver's license, a current insurance card, and a current inspection sticker. Orientation is 2 days. Floater is also required to take a 2 day Medication Administration class unless able to present a current Medication Certificate. Pay is $11-$12 per hour depending on experience and/or certification.
