Rincon Research Corporation seeks a candidate with DSP emphasis who is a demonstrated self-starter and able to work in a multi-disciplinary R&D environment with similarly motivated electrical engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists who are collectively responsible for creating custom digital signal processing solutions and communications systems in support of national security defense.

• 
  BS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or other equivalent field of discipline
• Background in DSP or communication theory
• Demonstrated capability in scientific programming in C, C++ or similar high-level language
• Experience with Python, Java, JavaScript or CUDA programming

• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance
• US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

• 
  MS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or other equivalent field of discipline
• Strong experience and understanding of Software Defined Radios (SDRs)
• Experience with scientific programming in Unix/Linux environments including shell scripting
• Innovative Computer Engineering (ICE) hardware and software development experience
• Experience developing in X-Midas or MATLAB
• Satellite communications experience
• Experience or knowledge of cellular communications systems
• An understanding of modern wireless protocols
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) system design, power analysis and link budget calculations
• An understanding of modern modulation schemes
• Algorithm development experience
• Signal geolocation and conditioning knowledge
• Coding theory and techniques
• An independent drive to tackle problems in unfamiliar areas
