Driver, Hatchery Job at Cooks Venture Poultry

Cooks Venture is seeking a Hatchery Associate to join us in our mission to change the world through food! As part of our start-up team, you'll be a key player in our mission to provide our customers with the highest quality products at the lowest possible costs.
As Hatchery Driver, you will:
- Drive the designated hatchery vehicles.
- Provide a safe environment for the transportation of eggs/chicks.
- Be able to drive a large truck onto farms and execute safe and proper vehicle actions.
- Pick up eggs in large buggies with a truck liftgate.
- Deliver chicks using boxes and dollies.
- Fill out and maintain all vehicle paperwork.
- Fill out and keep track of bird placement numbers with paperwork supplied by management.
- Drive 2-3 hours at a time to deliver birds.
Qualifications:
Technical Experience:
- Must be able to read and write English
- All job duties require physical activity and lifting heavy loads.
- At least 21 years of age
- Able to pass a DOT physical with Drug Screen
- CDL Class A and an above average DOT safety record
