Driller's Helper Job at Hillis-Carnes
Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates, Inc. is an Employee-Owned, Multi-Discipline Design Build Engineering firm that is currently seeking Geotechnical Driller Helpers. These positions will be based out of the Salisbury, MD location.
Ideal candidates should have prior experience working around geotechnical drills, in-situ testing and direct push equipment. They should also be familiar with exploratory drilling including hollow stem auger drilling, standard penetration testing and environmental sampling procedures. Projects will be primarily located in MD with the possibility of work in other states. Candidate must be dependable, hardworking, honest, and motivated.
Job Requirements
- Must be able work out of town when needed
- Have a class A or B CDL is a plus
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
- Must have own dependable vehicle w/good driving record
- Strong work ethic/team player attitude
- Be able to pass background check and drug screening
