This is a REMOTE position; however, to be considered, applicants should reside in or be willing to relocate to the following states: PA, GA, NJ, TX, WI, NV, AZ, or FL at their own expense.
- Prepares clear, complete and accurate product placement plans, detail drawings and supporting documentation necessary for project completion.
- Manage and coordinate the progress of orders by means of review, meetings, follow up and communication with internal departments and customers until project completion.
- Represent the company as a professional and knowledgeable resource that can be relied on for a successful and profitable completion.
- Creates field use placement drawings from Estimator’s quotations and contract documents for architectural comment and review.
- Recaps job quantities and models for comparison with Estimator’s quotation
- Reviews architectural change proposals, requests for information, and addenda drawings for effect on scope of work
- Answers specific or general technical questions from architects, contractors, and representatives
- Creates written requests for information
- Coordinates and converses with internal departments to ensure accuracy and final fabrication of project requirements
- Responsible for meeting committed dates and performing tasks as assigned in an efficient manner
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of projects
- Modify standard products to accommodate job specific conditions
- Attend all meetings as required for successful completion of project
- Have an understanding and knowledge of our products, fabrication processes, building construction, and contract document knowledge
- Maintain all electronic or physical files as required by department
- Implement and deliver solution-driven strategies
- Performs other duties assigned by management
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION :
- Associates degree in Drafting, Design, or Architectural Design
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar position required
- Ability to use AutoCAD
- Ability to read and understand rough or detailed sketches or notes, analyze, and interpret contract documents
- Ability to effective present information and respond to questions from internal departments, customers, representatives, contractors, and architects.
- Basic mathematical skills including but not limited to fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload and schedule effectively
- Communication skills necessary to work effectively with all people necessary
- Organizational skills including multi tasking and overseeing several projects at one time
- Must be detail oriented
- Must have excellent communication skills
