A District Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the Loss Prevention Department in their assigned stores, this includes hiring, training, and performance management of LP staff in designated stores. The District Loss Prevention Manager works collaboratively with the district leadership team as well as store level leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Leads the execution of all LP programs at store level in conjunction with store LP Managers and Operational leaders.

· Act as the primary contact for day to day issues and questions from Loss Prevention Managers within their district

· Interviewing and hiring of Loss Prevention Managers and Agents

· Complete the certification and training of all new LP Managers in the district and assist Managers with certification and training of LP Agents

· Guide, train and manage personnel within the district, and implement continuous training to encourage employee development

· Travel to assigned stores within their district in alignment to location risks and overall business support needs

· Review case reports from stores within the district and identify and communicate any policy violations to the Regional LP Manager

· Assist the regional manager in developing coaching and corrective action when needed, and conducting performance reviews annually

· Ensuring that employees understand, can articulate and act within the vision and values of the organization and department

· Assisting with investigations of internal and external theft or fraud

· All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to read and interpret documents

· Working knowledge of all Loss Prevention policies, procedures and systems

· Multitasking skills and the ability to tend to multiple problems at a time

· Leadership experience in results-oriented management and problem solving

· Train store teams on processes designed to mitigate loss in their district

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma
• 2 + years of experience in Loss Prevention Management

Visual acuity, talking, hearing, sitting and/or standing for multiple hours, lifting, pulling, pushing, and repetitive motions.

Travel Requirements:

This position requires travel, up to 70% of the time.
