Distribution Operations Manager

HYTORC is currently pushing the envelope in industrial bolting by designing tooling, fasteners, and software solutions for the world’s most critical infrastructure and applications.

HYTORC is currently seeking a Distribution Operations Manager to be responsible for the overall quality and delivery of our distribution services. The Global Operations Manager will be part of a team that is the strategic interface between HYTORC Corporate and its various warehouse locations worldwide.

This position is a leadership role providing an in-depth understanding of the business to drive process and distribution improvements. You will be required to use analytics and metrics to drive optimization of inventory and warehouse management. HYTORC is seeking a leader with proven track history of strong management and distribution/warehouse knowledge. The right candidate must be passionate about the future vision of the company, all while providing amazing managerial support to our warehouses around the globe.

Responsibilities:

• Foster a global community by implementing HYTORC’s vision supporting domestic and international markets/regions by representing their warehousing needs, requirements, priorities, and challenges back to headquarters.
• Build and maintain strong business relationships by partnering with managers within each location and departments.
• Provide leadership, operational strategy and overall direction.
• Interpret performance and product insights that drive business operations forward. Be able to identify discrepancies and gaps in processes and information gathered in order to provide a quick resolution.
• Influence Peers to be motivated within each location to follow protocols which align with HYTORC’s overall vision.
• Develop strategies ensuring global processes are aligned, cohesive, but tuned for regional needs.
• Plan and drive program enhancements defining effective business processes.
• Responsible for all aspects of people leadership across multiple layers within various locations both domestically and internationally.
• Work with upper management to establish budgets effectively & efficiently.
• Take a deep dive into our Products and Services to ensure interconnected initiatives are well supported.
• Ensure compliance within all environments.
• Travel as needed including domestic and international

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 7+ years’ experience of senior leadership within a distribution center environment managing different locations.
• Industry knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including inventory, distribution, customer service, and employee management
• Proven track record to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
• Experience in streamlining and implementing new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
• Proven experience to develop innovative solutions for increased productivity
• Experience with budget and business plan development
• Great organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by professional success.
• Reporting/Analysis background with experience in metrics and presentations.
• Analytical mindset; Loves to dig deep into data
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks and assess the order of importance for taking action.
• Strong ability to write concise and clear guidance based on insights from data
• Team player who also feels comfortable working independently with a focus on collective goals.
