The Dispute Processing Representative will be responsible for responding to in-bound, routine customer/consumer online, email or telephone inquiries regarding credit reports or other products/services, order status or general questions. Must possess an ability to perform in a high-volume and fast-paced team environment. Must have excellent listening skills, as well as both oral and written communication skills.
The Disputes Processing Rep is part of the Disputes Processing Team in Client Operations. The person in this role will be responsible for processing chargeback responses in a timely manner.
What you’ll do
Providing new and existing customers with the best possible service during account on-boarding, account management, billing inquiries, disputes, service or data requests, suggestions and complaints
Responds to in-bound, routine customer/consumer online, email or telephone inquiries regarding credit reports or other products/services, order status or general questions
For credit inquiries, research customer requests for disputed items, duplicate, collection and outdated information and utilize various prescribed methods to obtain current information and interpret data
Use critical thinking to determine if we will dispute the chargeback
Verify the representment document is complete and correct for each chargeback
Make any necessary edits to the chargeback representment document
Take the necessary steps in the Midigator app to process each chargeback representment based on processor guidelines, ensuring successful delivery of documents to the correct processor/endpoint
Audit each client’s account for all disputed chargebacks, ensuring documents were accurate and complete, and were delivered successfully to the correct processor/endpoint
Be an effective and proactive communicator
Maintain various spreadsheets
Other data entry tasks as needed
What experience you need
High School Diploma preferred
Data entry experience required
- Detail oriented with excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Must have proficient computer experience and knowledge in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
Ability to maintain a high activity level on a daily basis in order to meet objectives
Ability to understand the technical issues involved in processing chargebacks
Flexible 8 hour shift between the hours of 6:00am to 5:00p.

Advanced google sheet or excel experience
Experience and knowledge of chargeback process is a plus
