Fast-paced casual dining restaurant is seeking both full and part time Dishwashers. Experience in a high volume professional kitchen is helpful but not required.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform Janitorial/cleaning duties as requested including Front of House floors and bathrooms

• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine
• Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine
• Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly
• Empty trash containers regularly
• Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed
• Clean food prep stations and equipment

There are a couple of things that we need from you to make sure you’re the right candidate:

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time (4-8 hours).
• Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions during high volume periods.
• Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor by stairways (minimum of 20 steps)
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.
• Respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.
• Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have excellent team work and customer service/communication skills.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.

License Requirements

• Must be able to obtain, and maintain a Food Workers Safe Handling Certification where required by law.
