As a dishwasher Neptunes we are offering a position in a very unique kitchen and are getting you started on a path into the restaurant world.
At Neptunes we provide both casual American dining fair, as well as specialty and traditional sushi. Our dish pit area has two different sides to it, the industrial dishwasher and a triple sink area for hand washing pots and pans that cannot go into the industrial dishwasher. Dishwashers are some of the most important team members on our staff.
Your tasks as a Dishwasher will include:
- Rinsing and washing dishes and putting them away in the correct spots.
- Hand-washing and/or scrubbing the pots and pans in the triple sink area and putting them away
- Taking out trash, chopsticks and compost and replacing the bags.
- Emptying the liquid dump bucket.
- If possible assist with making rice, simple prep items, and anything else around the kitchen you have time for.
- Various cleaning projects as assigned.
We require you to:
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Wear non slip kitchen shoes
- Work with a positive attitude.
