Kindercare has begun a bold transformational effort across our technology landscape and is searching for the right leader to drive our Enterprise Software Quality strategy. This leader will step into an already strong team, executing across a variety of technologies and shape the long-term vision. Key to establishing this vision will be partnership with Product and Project leaders to define quality needs and align to delivery timelines which best suit each situational need while tying back to a broader QA Enterprise strategy. The right candidate will strike a balance between quality and speed; helping our collaborators understand the choices and associated implications.

To meet the needs of their partners, this leader will also establish a vision and roadmap for the continued modernization of QA people, process and technology. Throughout the delivery of their vision, they will create and leverage a metric-based approach to measure their teams' progress and to demonstrate success for their collaborators.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Establishes strategy to meet business needs, drives alignment and delivers
  • Influences at all levels of the organization on future QA strategy and roadmaps executing and tailoring service offerings and creating appropriate servicing and retention strategies for clients.
  • Brings clarity to all collaborators, internal and external to their teams on strategy and execution, creating alignment and efficiency in delivery.
  • Provides resources to implement the strategy and delegating authority for detailed planning and execution as needed
  • Establishes strategic goals for their function, aligned to business priorities, creating frameworks for various business and technology cases, and clarifies the path for their team to implement
  • Recognizes the potential strategic application of technology capabilities, defines the solutions, and influences appropriate investments
  • Acts as the ultimate escalation point for issue resolution.
  • Sets, negotiates, agrees, and manages all team financial budgets and targets.
  • Provides strong mentorship up, down and across their organization and the enterprise as a whole
  • Builds clear and impactful career plans for their leaders unifying their personal goals and the business needs and assists them in driving similar plans for their team members

Qualifications:

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years in Quality Leadership roles
  • Excellent people management and collaboration skills
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated experience leading distributed teams preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, products and teams in a fast-paced environment.
