Job Description
The student news bureau director will recruit, build and supervise a storytelling team of student writers and photographers. Topics and story formats will range from news stories to content-marketing style blog posts designed to engage all University audiences (prospective and current students and their families, alumni, faculty and staff, community members). The director will manage the OHIO SNB team and engage university stakeholders to ensure that the best stories are elevated appropriately.

Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team of students or professionals.
  • Experience successfully managing and executing time-sensitive projects.
  • Strong communication skills. Must show ability to write/edit content based on AP guidelines.


Preferred Qualifications
  • News/publication experience
  • Experience developing training or onboarding programming for individuals or teams.
  • Experience managing relationships with multiple stakeholders across an organization.
