Director of Strategic Accounts Job at ixlayer

As the Director of Strategic Accounts and key member of the ixLayer commercial team, you will help drive the ixLayer platform's adoption with the most significant players in healthcare. Specifically, you will focus on helping potential customers and strategic partners adopt new and innovative ways to improve preventive care and lab testing adherence through digital lab testing. This is the future of diagnostic testing, and you will play a key role in engaging with decision-makers at these large institutions.

You will lead our most strategic new business accounts, forging strong relationships with upper and mid-level executives within these customers as well as with key internal stakeholders. You'll work collaboratively across the organization to articulate our value proposition for these customers, position our technology and demo experiences in a compelling way, and identify and justify new product features that will need to be built to succeed with these customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Collaborate with product marketing to articulate ixLayer's value proposition to identified high profile potential customers that ixlayer gets introduced to
  • Use a high-touch, consultative and strategic sales approach to target, drive, and close new revenue-generating customer opportunities through strategic selling and establishing relationships with prospective customers; partner within ixlayer to ensure future retention
  • Provide subject matter expertise
  • Prepare and present proposals and bids, and identify ways to grow the revenue over time
  • Comply with organizational requirements for documentation designated systems and processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations
  • Complete all administrative tasks thoroughly and promptly
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in business development or partnerships in digital health and/or healthcare
  • Experience leading deal discussions with digital health executives and/or C suite decision-makers
  • Deep understanding of digital health landscape and existing relationships therein; healthcare experience is required
  • Basic understanding of the diagnostic testing industry and/or SaaS platforms a plus
