Director of Retail Operations Job at Ria
Based in Buena Park the Director of Retail Operations will be at the ground level of building and developing Ria Money Transfer Retail division. This role will report to the VP of Retail and oversee store operational excellence across our expanding retail network. You will be responsible for owning the execution of store-level operations strategies and processes to support Ria’s growth and help us achieve our customer experience, financial and sales objectives. This role will collaborate closely with our marketing, merchandising, and logistics teams.

- Responsibilities
Responsible for overall labor model resourcing plan for current stores and new store openings
Achieve operational excellence by developing SOPs, managing roll-out plan with District Managers, and tracking roadmap to completion
Responsible for monthly retail reporting (sales v plan, ops metrics, and forecasts) and provide strategic analysis/action plans to achieve goals and objectives
Manage and develop the Retail processes, reporting on quarterly progress
Responsible for retail calendar for new store opening and closures/moves and upgrades
Responsible for retail communications such as in store posters (to include marketing, compliance, HR information)
Work with VP of Retail to review P&L, analysis of results and findings
Qualifications
3-5 years experience in a Retail Leadership role such as Division Manager, District Manager or Director.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint specific) required
Bachelor’s degree or above preferred, not required
Technical background
You’re an exceptional leader: you’re a problem-solver and you have a proven ability to lead, inspire, and direct a team. You’re able to motivate a team to reach established KPIs and expectations.

The salary range for this position in California is $100,000- $165,000. Actual starting compensation may vary based upon the geographic location, work experience, and skills.
