Responsibilities:
This position will be based in Louisville, KY and will work from our home office.

Directs recruiting and leads the recruitment function for Synchrony Health Services. This includes recruiting positions such as the campus and all Home Office positions. Ensures best practices to qualify, select and hire the best employees.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manages recruitment process by developing effective recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing through collaboration with the leadership team. Develops specific recruiting plan(s) as needed.
2. Oversees the recruiting team's use of the company's applicant tracking system (ATS). Works with the HRIS team to modify, delete or add letters, email templates, and pre-hire forms.
3. Troubleshoots ATS and background system issues and works with the appropriate support teams to resolve.
4. Manages and oversees performance of the recruitment team; providing training, direction and support as needed.
5. Develops, compiles, and analyzes recruiting metrics and provides monthly reports to senior leadership on a monthly basis.
6. Analyzes and identifies trends and develops recommendations to support recruitment initiatives.
7. Facilitates the recruitment process by posting positions, screening applicants, coordinating interviews and preparing offer letters for selected candidates including appropriate information concerning salary, benefits, reporting functions, etc.
8. Coordinates new hire start dates with leaders as well as equipment and onboarding schedules as needed.
9. Compiles monthly reports and provides to senior leaders for recruiting activities as required.
10. Acts as liaison with recruitment vendors. Submits invoices and coordinates with legal on review of applicable contracts.
11. Directs the efforts of staffing agencies and search firms (if needed and approved), including negotiating and controlling employment related fees.
12. Coordinates attendance at job/career fairs as needed or requested with appropriate staff as a source to general qualified applicants.
13. Travel including overnight stay as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, communications, business or equivalent from an accredited college or university required.

Licenses/Certifications
  • PHR or SPHR preferred

Experience
  • Minimum of seven (7) years' experience recruiting positions at all levels required. Healthcare, senior living industry or long-term care environment strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' managing a team of recruiters required.
  • Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
